It's funny every reactor thinks the mokey wants wings when they describe him watching birds, rather than thinking he wants the freedom birds represents.

I loved how Elfaba flipping her cape was pretty much her "hair toss." It was a nice touch. 👌

15:22 This is how the shoes were in the original Wizard of Oz book, Hollywood changed them to ruby to stand out more on film.

Yes Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth were the og Elphaba and Glinda on Broadway. The guy who said "The wizard will see you now" is the composer Stephen Schwartz.

You mentioned the singing talent behind them; the lead characters all sang live on set via hidden mics in their costumes, wigs, and around the set. There are a bunch of interviews and BTS clips talking about it and how they did it. It’s impressive AF the amount of talent and skill on display in this movie.

15:16 The shoes are originally SILVER in the books. They were made ruby in the original Wizard Of Oz film because they liked how they looked in TechniColor. MGM legally owns the rights to the ruby slippers so nobody can have them in any adaptation, play or film

This movie is not the length of the entire Broadway show. Itd the length of the entire Broadway show INCLUDING the 20 minutes intermission between Act 1 and Act 2 😂
