  I still remember the night it was announced he passed, I was in a Taxi on the way to see The King and I, with Yul Brenner at The St Louis Muny Opera. At the Muny it was like EVERYONE was talking about Elvis Presley’s death that entire night. I felt like the actors didn’t even have a true audience that evening because people were whispering among themselves the entire show.<br>He died way too young. So sad how this happened and that Lisa Marie was in the center of it all at Graceland. She lived with that pain her entire life.

  Elvis Presley continues to give visibility to so many people, more than 47 years after his death. Elvis is dead; &nbsp;however, he continues to breathe life into so many others who can&apos;t be someone of any substance, without referencing him. Wow!
