Some years ago I had a friend who waspro at sketching but when I showed her my sketchbook she started giving me negative feedbacks which pressured my mental health.I kept pressuring myself to be better and kept comparing myself to her.But when I showed my art to my bestie she said that my art is really good and then she showed it to my classmates they also gave me good feedbacks about my drawings. That was the time I realized that the girl I mentioned earlier who gave bad feedback to my drawings was actually jealous of my drawings and wanted to put me down but then I decided to improve I stopped paying attention to bad feedbacks and did my best I always practiced for 40 mins a day and that improves me alot.

 the process I did:
step 1: learn anatomy
step 2: figure out which parts you hate drawing and which ones you love drawing
step 3: simplify the parts you hate drawing
step 4 exaggerate the ones you love
step 5: practice until you can't go wrong
step 6: continue to study drawing
step 7: allow yourself to evolve overtime

personally, my art style just happened. I never tried to learn from anyone else, and I've just drawn all my life.
EDIT: I didn't want to turn this into a channel campaign, but if anyone is curious you can see my art style on my doodle videos

As a 15 (and a 1/2) year old artist- i had loved watching your Videos SOO MUCH, ive been here watching since day 1! Ive been doing art for like 8-7 years now, and honestly it didnt progress much since lots of vids or tips i found were like just like you said "practice more or comes with time but then i found your videos and BOOM game changer, i made maaannny improvements and just in general when im doing mediums or really anything i love watching your videos, and you always had a good soundtrack too :D PS: CONGRATS ON HITTING 1M SUBS
