  Wonderful observations. Fargo is a masterpiece of minimalism and razor-sharp composition. So many amazing images. I remember when I first watched it being torn between a sense of melancholy and chilly, mordant humor. Over the years, I have come to see those moods as two sides of the same coin. &nbsp;It is both a very funny film AND an angry indictment of shallow, narcissistic morons destroying the people they are supposed to cherish. The humanity of Marge and her husband, even when played for laughs, is an antidote, and it makes the simple, understated ending all the more powerful - the love of two ordinary people expecting a child becomes quietly profound and life-affirming. It&apos;s a great film.

  good point at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-vVdxt_xtQ&amp;t=508">8:28</a>. Jerry is always addressed at a distance . even Wade created space. he would barely look him in the eye .

  I’d love to see a video about the series. A spin-off that no one really asked for that ended up being one of the best-crafted shows on television right now.

  My wife and I watch it every week. I love the way &nbsp;the Coens charecterized Jerry as a craven wretch.

  It’s borderline criminal that this video doesn’t have millions of views. Brilliant analysis of the emphasis on the ontology of the world of Fargo and subjectivity.

  There&apos;s a lot of really pretentious film analysis on youtube, including cinematography, but this really is spot on.

  I&apos;ve always liked the Prowler-needs-a-jump scene and noticed how &quot;odd&quot; they chose to shoot it but this makes sense. Really cool!

  The original Fargo is so amazing and the spinoff TV show is so good. Thanks for the great video and the insertion to make mine better.
