  Julian has good friends. &nbsp;Too often friends and family don’t take such fears seriously, but his friends provided support and encouragement throughout the ordeal.

  Hello Tape Library. I am the chap Steven who wrote to you back in 2023 regarding the Tall Man I experienced back in 2006. Thank you for mentioning me again. &nbsp;When I wrote that e-mail to you back then I didn&apos;t feel the need to pad the incident out with meandering detail to make the story seem more Hollywood. I kept to the facts, but listening back again I am aware that there are a couple of small details that I could have added. I believe that I mentioned the overwhelming evil that was in the atmosphere, which our dog responded to before I did. I suppose I know Bailey so well that it was his sudden odd behavioural change that alerted me to something being wrong. The other thing that stays with me is that there was no sound. Even though this is a quiet place nestled deep in the countryside there is always some background noise whether it is birdsong or a distant car, but I distinctly the remember this instant absence of sound as if someone had just inserted earplugs into me. It was horrible, truly horrible...like time had stopped. If I was to go even further with this, the best analogy I can think of is when you see a flash of lightning and there is that moment of silence waiting for the thunder clap. It was similar to that pause...but extended. I could however hear Bailey barking, but the sound was odd, slower, totally isolated from the environment. The last thing to say is that I am aware of these stories of Shadow Men from listening to clips on YouTube over the years, but I had never heard of them in 2006 and also what I saw was definitely solid. Very solid. Harsh black in fact. Nothing shadowy about it. After you published my story I went back to these small woodlands with my mobile phone and recorded a piece for my best friend Grahame in real time. &nbsp;The discomfort was still there and although sadly it did not come out on my audio, someone laughed next to me, but no one was to be seen which I guess follows a very tired cliche, but it still unnerved me and brought back those terrible memories again. I subsequently tried to research the area but there was nothing I could find as the place seems to have been unchanged for years and there are no local legends of murder or such like that I can find. Maybe one day... &nbsp;Thank you again for featuring me and for all of your excellent videos which are a real treat every time.

  Just happened. I&apos;m listening to the part of Julien laying in bed and seeing the tall man out side his window.<br>I&apos;m laying in bed and looked up at my window and there&apos;s a shadow of my neighbor from his driveway light.<br>Startled tf out of me. 😂

  What’s unsettling isn’t just the shadow itself, but how a single presence can echo through decades and even be witnessed by others, blurring the line between personal memory and shared reality. It makes you wonder how much of fear comes from the unknown—and how much from realizing you might not be alone in seeing it.

  What struck me most wasn’t just the entity, but how grief seems to anchor it. Losing both parents while being stalked by something you can’t explain… whether paranormal or not, Julian went through real horror 😨

  Wow, thank you for making this. I’d like to state clearly that this is not a hoax on my side and I didn’t ask anyone to falsify anything. I am Julian, the full story is more complex than this and a lot of information about hasn’t been made public for various reasons and you’ve done a really good job, thank you again<br><br>Edit: There’s one bit of information about the Shadowman that hasn’t been made public yet to stop people making false claims of experiencing it.

  I know it’s a bit selfish of me to ask but I’d love it if you’d consider covering the case of my great great great uncle, who many consider to be still haunting a well known bar in NY to this day. His name is Charles Klein and he’s been covered by over four different television shows including Zak Bagan’s Ghost Adventures, Paranormal State, My Ghost Story, and a series on HBO that I forgot the name of. He was a bootlegger during prohibition who unfortunately decided to end his life because he was arrested and facing his third strike. His bar is now called Katie’s Bar and it’s located in Smithtown NY. My grand parents were very private people and never mentioned him once. I would love for everyone to hear about his story and how activity continues to be reported every year.

  The mention of the hat man has struck a nerve, in the late 90s my younger brother was walking through a field near our house and he heard a voice say &quot; boy&quot; but he said it was right in his ear like they were stood beside him, he turned and saw a face in the trees of a man wearing a top hat , the man spoke to my brother multiple times asking him to come over and everytime he spoke the face would move from up high to down low from one side to another , im not sure if im a believer in the paranormal but i know my brother and know he was telling the truth of what he saw.

  Seeing the uncanny episode on tv,Julian came across as genuine and to have corroboration from his friends says to me there was something going on. The lady who lived in the house subsequently confirmed that she had experiences in the house. For me this is one of the most convincing paranormal events I’ve come across so far. Gives me the Willies. Happy New Year and all the best
