I was so pleased to hear the preacher debunk the saying "don't be too Heavenly minded, you are no earthly use". I remember, as a young Christian in my twenties, hearing two older, middle aged, Christian men quite forcefully telling me this, and it caused great confusion to me. However, within two years of their saying this both men destroyed their marriages by adultery.

Mr Smith is absolutely right - it is when we are Heavenly minded we are the greatest use for the Lord to make us effective in our earthly lives.

I love the joy and excitement with which you teach. It’s real real to you and not just words spoken because you studied. The word is alive in you and flows out. Brings glory to God!
