You know it's a good place when they get their bread twice a day

I started eating there back in 1999. Never knew the history of the store or that i was getting served by the owner sometimes. I reneged going there and ordering 3 sandwiches to realize i left my wallet home. They still gave me my sandwiches. I was an MTA employee and they would see me often. To me this is the best sandwich shop in New York City

A sandwich from Sal, Kris, and Charlie's was the first thing my sister ate after giving birth this summer!

Renaming the street is a great dedication to the hard work and great value product this family make.

While I love the idea of this sandwich, what REALLY thrills me is how this small business is thriving! Kudos to you all!

Three words to describe this place: generosity, hospitality, family.<br>Everything is made with love and care. They don’t just have provolone, they have sharp and mild provolone. The lettuce is shredded impossibly thin. The peppers are all delicious, especially when combined. The bread is superbly fresh. They cut the sandwich right in front of you before wrapping it. If you want a hot sandwich, go to Rosario’s, but for a cold sandwich, go to Sal, Kris, and Charlie’s.

I cannot imagine the pure torture it would be to interact with one of the social media tools shown in this video.

I was staying in Astoria during my trip to NYC in 2022 and I googled "deli near me". I was brought here. The Bomb was the first thing I saw on the menu. I can't believe I got to experience this by complete fluke 😂
