  How is it that you are raising a baby with someone, but typing in their phone number manually to text them? Wouldn't they be in your contacts?

  A funny wrong number story I experienced:<br><br>One morning, while getting ready for school, I got a phone call. I answered, and the person on the phone said “Hi, is this [my grandmother’s name]?”<br>So I said, “This is her grandson, how can I help you?”<br>They then said that they’re calling with a neurosurgeon’s office and was wanting to confirm her appointment. So I asked if they tried calling her number directly.<br><br>Then, the person on the phone said, “Oh, sorry, I got the wrong number, I meant to dial [my phone number, but one digit off]”<br>Then I got into an argument with the person on the phone saying that’s not her phone number, to which they just hung up on me. I tried calling my grandma, no answer.<br><br>So then, I tried calling this phone number that was one digit off from mine, and it just so happened that this phone number belonged to a woman with the same first and last name as my grandma. Weird ass coincidence.

  I got a text from some random number last winter saying “happy birthday little cousin!” (im born in spring). A few weeks ago, I got a call from some random woman asking why I had her nephew’s phone number. Im convinced there’s a family out there that thinks I’m related to them.

  The only wrong text that I&apos;ve gotten was from a guy I&apos;m &quot;pretty&quot; sure went to my high school and is a ginger. He sent me a picture of himself with bread around his neck and a sign that said, &quot;ginger bread man.&quot; Every other texts that I&apos;ve gotten have been scams

  I used my husband’s phone to leave a message with someone we were meeting later that evening. Turns out he hadn’t updated his contacts list and I called a wrong number. Couple hours later we got a call back from that number with a very frazzled guy who begged us to talk to his girlfriend (who was yelling in the background) and explain to her why I had called him. She was convinced he was cheating on her with me. We argued with her for at least 20 min trying to convince her it was a wrong number before giving up and wishing him the best of luck. I hope he saw that red flag and found someone better.
