I mean Bugs said it himself that Daffy is horrible in one episode:
“You’re a narcissist, you’re a sociopath, I think you’re a psychopath, you’re a…………, you’re paranoid, sexist, and you make fun of the elderly.”

Porky beating Daffy senseless could actually be seen as Porky getting back at him for abusing him since the 1937.

Implying that Bugs and Daffy are friends is stretching it. It’s more like a sponge and a regular guy. Seriously in one episode we see how they met and Daffy just never left the house. Bugs inadvertently adopted a homeless guy

I love how in this show, they don’t portray him like a lovable rascal or like he’s a funny and dimwitted goof like modern day Patrick Star. They condemn and punish him

To be fair , Daffy's whole thing for literally decades has been :
1. Encounter a bad situation through negligence
2. Panic and make everything worse
3. Get someone else to fix it

That's what i've always liked most about Daffy, he may be a horrible horrible person but he always manages to be lovable horrible person, Otherwise we wouldn't have enjoyed Daffy's antics for literally decades.

Well, that's nothing new, considering how much chaos Daffy's created since he first crashed into people's lives 😂

Even though I think Daffy’s personality is mean-spirited at times, he’s still a very entertaining and great character in the Looney Tunes show.

I think the short "The wizard" is best representation of Daffy as an individual and how he sees himself in a "normal" world
