  I can’t stop thinking about how good her character progression could’ve been if Black Widow came out after civil war. When I was watching infinity war, I kept wondering why I felt such a disconnect with her character, and it never occurred to me how much time actually passed between her being on the run to her fighting against thanos. There was so much growth that happens in Black Widow, and her arc never felt as complex as the rest of the avengers coming into the Infinity war/endgame storyline. <br><br>I’m glad she got her time to shine as one of the OG avengers, but it feels too late. Her story ended with endgame, and I think it was a big risk to push the movie back so far and to not have this progression happen before her death.

  I was heart broken in Endgame when Nat died, but after watching Black Widow it really did give her sacrifice more meaning and brought a little closure to us fans.
