I have had a parrot for 20+ years. I have no doubt that parrots would be excellent carnivore hunters. Smart and adaptable is an understatement. I think they're primarily scavengers, and being freakishly smart, I have no doubt they could find a carcass of an animal, and understand the anatomy and formulate the optimum places to feed on with a live animal. My bird loves just about any kind of food you offer them. He loves eating chicken, and really loves chewing on chicken bones and pork ribs. He also loves spaghetti, both cooked and raw, ice cream, every type of nut, fruit, vegetable, and legume. He definitely prefers meat, cheese and bread though.

Fun fact: Falcons are murder parrots. They are closer related to parrots than hawks and eagles.

So a meat eating parrot doesn't actually surprise me at all.

A friend of mine has a parrot, it's now 35-40 years old (Hyacinth breed). Only reason he has it because it was a rescue off a smuggling boat near Cali and he's a falconer; so, the government asked if he would be cool with taking it. Of course he said yes. I've known that bird for nearly 9 years now and I have only seen him eat an insect ONCE . And we're 1000% sure that's because he was . . . well poor dude was down bad. He actually got that hookup and the LA zoo says he's a perfect specimen for breeding. So, if you're in the LA zoo and see baby parrots there's a good chance those are his kids.

You forgot the most ridiculous part of the Cadaver Synod! Pope Formosus's corpse was questioned like he was alive, and someone actually like crouched behind the corpse and spoke for him to answer!

Having spent more than 5 minutes with my aunt's parrot, I 100% believe they would attack and kill larger animals

7:47 I was taught that it was Ice land and Green land because when they went to Ice land it was perfect for living and they didnt want people over popuating the area and taking resources so they basically false advertised the name and Green land was the opposite, they wanted more people so they used more false advertising
