b2e. I home pressure can my own beans. I also pressure can soy beans to later make Natto. I totally agree that store canned baked beans are now a dessert rather than a side dish.

I like Bush's beans. And molasses is good for you. They shouldn't have took the molasses out. No canned beans are perfect. If you want perfect just make your stuff fresh.

I can understand the concern if these are a main staple of your diet, however, if it is not, and you only use the product (in my case Bush Country Style Beans) on occasion, I do not see an issue with it. I have always said, I can eat just about anything as long as it in moderation.

Why is it (you?) always disparage the most common brands that most of us purchase on a regular basis? I’m 87 years old and have no ailments due to eating the usual! My Dad lived until he was 93! Never a food problem! May God be as good to me as food (everyday food) has kept me healthy and happy!<br>PGT

Buy dried beans cook them in a slow cooker overnight. Season them a million different ways. Stop buying processed food
