  I’d be very surprised if there weren’t many many more victims. It was a lifestyle to them not random occurrences. <br>I’ve heard about both Rose and Fred’s upbringing. Absolutely horrific what they themselves suffered as children. They probably thought what they were doing was very normal even though knowing it was wrong. <br>All so sick and twisted. I can’t imagine the horror the poor victims went through. 😢

  A friend of mine said she was hitch-hiking as a young woman in that area at the time Fred and Rose were active. A car stopped for her and a woman she would later recognise as Rose asked her, &apos;Have you got somewhere to go dear?&apos; She thought the pair of them were dodgy and she decided to not get in the car. I&apos;ve no idea if this is true or not but there must&apos;ve been a lot of occasions like that.

  Sir Trevor is the Morgan Freeman of presenting &amp; journalism. Such a captivating voice &amp; presence. A national treasure. Great to see he is still working after retiring from being a news reader.

  For anyone that doesn&apos;t know who DCI Sutton - Retired is, he is an absolute legend. Famous for thinking outside the box. Most famous for bringing Levi Bellfield to justice.

  Back when Fred was captured our family lived in Cheltenham. My parents were really shaken up by it. For one, my now late mum had been stalked by Fred at a bus stop in Cheltenham not too far from the main bus station. He had offered her a ride home, but she explained she was meeting my dad as they were &quot;courting&quot; at the time and he was going to pick her up my car. She felt really unsettled and ran to a nearby cafe where the lady in there gave her a strong coffee as she was really upset by the experience.<br><br>When my father arrived they went to get some food from a local chippy, And my mum spotted Fred at the window while they were queuing. Panic stricken she told my Dad that they should leave. I 100% believed my mum as she was white as sheet whenever she saw or spoke of Fred West on the TV at the time in the 90s.

  I was hitchhiking to and from Ledbury as a strawberry picker aged 20 at that time. Gives me shivers up my spine.

  Here&apos;s something you won&apos;t believe (and that is quite fine). Back then being born out of wedlock was pretty much a sin and my mother struggled to find accommodation for us both. The authorities made an appointment at this house in Cromwell St but the residents said it would be ok for her to come for a viewing but not to bring the child (me). As I was not allowed to attend with her, she refused the viewing, we ended up somewhere else in Gloucester. I&apos;m guessing I was about 4 back then.
