  302 is breathtaking. It seems she inately understand how every tiny movement can be gracefully crafted and controlled. I mean, not a single fiber in her muscle is wasted on an unnecessary movement while maintaining the flow of the motions smooth, disciplined, and natural. At the same time, when needed, she can make a dramatic gesture without sacrificing the underlying grace and beauty. Amazing... just amazing. She will definitely go places.

  Absolutely agree about inequity between males and females. <br>It&apos;s been years I have been observing this. <br>And I&apos;m really disturbed by it, being a former dancer and Swiss. <br>We used to admire and love our Prix.<br>I can&apos;t really explain what&apos;s happening because it hadn&apos;t been like that before.<br>Yes, we still have more females in dance schools, yes, companies have greater choice of excellent female dancers and less choice of good male dancers, yes, most ballet directors are still male, and yes, ballet world has always been misogynistic...female dancers have to endure - and do endure without whining - much more pain and physical work because of the pointes and the hughe competition...<br>But that doesn&apos;t mean that such a renowned Prix can&apos;t recognize excellent female dancers&apos; work.<br>And still..<br>There have been absolutely wonderfully accomplished female dancers going home without any recognition at all, while some male dancers, often still in the making, with lots of flaws and at the best with some potential, were given highest prices.<br>Absolutely scandalous.<br>Only solution possible; giving two first prices, female and male category.

  I find it concerning that since 2019 no woman has been a prize winner. In so many spaces, women seem to be required to be flawless in order to be recognized, while many boys are rewarded more for their “potential” than for what they already deliver. I’m not saying the boys aren’t talented, they absolutely are, but the criteria do not seem to weigh the same. It’s hard to believe that dancers like Sarah and Pietra received no scholarships at all. I miss the Prix de Lausanne from 10 years ago, when artistry, individuality, and sensitivity seemed to matter more.

  발레가 그것도 백만번은 봤을만한 에스메랄다에 울컥할정도로 아름답다니…! ㅜㅜ 몸짓에서도 착함착함이 드러나는구나!!!! 마치 태어나자마자 발레를 한듯한 숨쉬는 모든순간에도 발레를 한듯해서 눈물나는듯..

  There is a huge gender problem in the way this competition is judged. There should be a top male and female winner.

  The 15-year-old from Belgium was so musical. And the Acteon had crazy jumps and controlled pirouettes. He and 302 shared my vote for gold medal.

  They could have easily given the win to 1 of the top girls this year. Prix de Lausanne has just committed to keeping that for boys.
