  When a cat comes out of a bad situation, she needs to regain trust in us. You know you are golden when they start the slow blinking. Also this mama was VERY communicative. She told you EXACTLY what she was thinking. Time and patience and tons of love.

  The mother cat didn't sound angry.  She sounded terrified.  You can see her eyes getting softer and more trusting.  You are kind being patient with her.

  I know this is not the channel of the person who did this, but if you ever read tis... I have rescued animals for over ten years, and what you did, you can not possibly understand the amount of pain and suffering you have prevented. This simple action, this simple show of humanity and compassion, has prevented this mom and her babies from suffering in ways most of us can never, and should never, understand. Thank you for that, from the bottom of my old heart <3

  A stray mama cat once chose my porch to hide her kittens. She never let me touch her, but every morning she&apos;d look at me for a few seconds before leaving to find food.<br><br>One day she never came back.<br><br>I still wonder if she knew I would take care of her babies.

  The fact that she had the kittens in the bed, which was covered in his scent, probably helped smooth over the introduction. She didnt know him, but she recognized the smell. Add feeding and his respect of her space, and still constant scent exposure of the bed had her realize that he was a cool dude. Everything worked in their favor, a warm video watch &lt;3
