  HJC for me, on looks alone. The modularity of the JD poses an interesting proposition. My only gripe with SHOEI is the branding. Never liked that huge lettering in the front, but I guess it's always been their thing. To each their own.

  I have the HJC V10, the helmet original review i watch had vents at the back to help airflow. The production version doesn't have rear vents and I have an issue with fogging, unless I crank it slightly. I replaced my Gringo with the V10 and its an upgrade in safety and features.

  I bought JD One after YOUR recommendation and has been struggling since then. Everything you say in this vid is true - foggy, impossible to clean also no integrated sunvisor and it is noisy. Why didn’t you tell this in prior videos is beyond my understanding

  I have the V10 and it&apos;s great!<br>So easy to instal my Cardo, the moment you wear it you can tell the quality, it&apos;s quiet and yes, the only issue is the whistle when it&apos;s open.

  I’m an Arai guy, so the Concept XE gets my vote. It’s not offered in the US so I imported one from Italy. Total price was cheaper than buying a comparable Arai from a US shop lol.

  I used my Arai Concept X for 5 years and is imo one of the best lids made, and a bonus it has retro styling.

  I have an Arai Concept XE - the lovely two tone blue 💙. Managed to get the helmet for 570€ after searching for weeks and waiting to get a good price with discount.<br>My experience with it:<br>+Built quality is top notch<br>(Did drop it twice on concrete, no chip in the paint or anything else)<br>+Very comfortable <br>+Noise level is better than average <br>- The visor mechanism is horrendous. It&apos;s only left side and it always gets stuck. Only now after 2 years it is worn down, that it works slightly better.<br>-Those vents in the visor are useless for me, cause if I open them I get a very profound air stream on my eyebrows and that doesn&apos;t feel nice.<br>-No chin certain include, especially for the price<br><br>Overall I very much like the helmet and did even some touring with it. But I would rather recommend to buy a clean looking &quot;normal&quot; helmet, like the Shoei NXR for touring and ONLY for summer and short events sth like the John Doe. If you manage some good prices the NXR and the John Doe could be together on a same price level as the Arai.
