  The "do we need them?" segment that Karl brought to Ricky and Steves XFM radio show was pure gold. This is kind of a spin off but not nearly as funny.

  There was an XFM segment called “Do We Need Em?”, where every week Karl would call up an animal expert and ask them what certain animals do 😂

  The museum is the Natural History Museum in London, probably one of the most famous museums and THE museum for the study of natural history. So more effort is put into the fancy exhibits. Its free entry to! Many of the samples and taxidermy animals were collected by Charles Darwin

  Armstrong only went to the Moon once, so it&apos;s can&apos;t be nice enough to want to go back. One of Karls all time great takes! :D

  Several of these random thoughts and stories are expanded on in the XFM radio show. Despite it being an afternoon London radio show, most of the show is Ricky , Steve and Karl talking nonsense often on levels youd never get away with now 😅 Its VERY unfiltered Karl

  The Dodo became extinct due to deforestation, hunting, and destruction of their nests by animals brought to the Island (in the Indian Ocean) by the Dutch. &nbsp;It’s thought they might not have always been flightless.

People were late for work because their eggs took too long to boil.<br><br><br>...by all accounts they didn&apos;t taste good, but they were easy to catch and the options weren&apos;t great either when you&apos;d been on a sail ship for months without a freezer.

  That was a lot of thoughts ...for Karl! There&apos;s a kind of mad logic to all his ideas if you don&apos;t think too deeply. Incidentally, the natural history museum in London is amazing, and the dinosaurs do look real, and it&apos;s &nbsp;FREE. Karl never mentioned that! Haha 😜😅😅
