My son and I had a blast at the Alabama Gold Camp this past weekend. It was my first time (and his) to pull real gold from the ground. I never knew why you got so excited about such a small amount of gold...but NOW I do. Our panning skills need some work 😂 but we absolutely enjoyed it. Thanks for getting us off the couch and into the woods and streams.

Happy Birthday too!!

That little guy did its job , the VDR is the same concept. I had no idea you were a big time commercial miner ! 😎

Lucas, your geology lessons are more precious than the gold you find. Thanks so much for the quality content.

That’s hilarious. He said commercial activity lol I live in Arizona. Things are a little bit different out here but been hunting for gold and I swear I only ever hit just a couple of specks , I live near oxbow az lots of washes nearby and I am backed up to forest wish I knew someone nearby that wants to hunt for gold his videos are very encouraging and he is so knowledgeable He gives me hope to keep hunting thank you so much for all your helpful videos!!

Somewhat surprised you didn't run a safety pan with your sluice, and delighted you're giving Minnesota justified criticism over their silly sluice regs. Carry on!

You make a few good points
Physically challenged
Slusher being considered commercial mining activities, usually overcome by limiting sizes of slices. Keep up the good work.

I have a 42 inch version of that sluice and I generally run 6 to 8 buckets before a clean out. I also have a Le Trap drop riffle that I can run all day and not classify. Both are great at finding the flour gold. Thanks for another great video!
