Along with the Dover Quartet, the Danish Quartet, the Belcea Quartet, and the Quatuor Ébène, among the finest quartets in the world today, comfortable with any composer and original in their interpretations. (Now please, someone take them shopping so they don't have to play in their pajamas and bathrobes anymore.) Also, #4 is E minor, not A minor.

This is such a lively, sparkling and beautiful performance, it's amazing that in the seven months it's been posted, with over 5600 views, there are only 165 "Likes" (to date). A big shoutout to these talented artists! Thank you, Hochrhein Musikfestival.

What a great performance. I want to buy a recording but can't find one that matches the intensity and full sound of this group.

Watchout for the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftAzVB9p4NI&t=560">9:20</a> moment. It's so good somebody's likely to get hurt. Scarey good.

Самый романтичный из всех романтичных композиторов.

Beautiful performance, thank you for sharing. Just a small correction: Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 4 is in E minor, Op. 44 No. 2, not in A minor. The A minor quartet is No. 2, Op. 13
