I hate how Ned talked about it with Ariel like they’re in the same boat and are both victims of ‘society’ or ‘the public’. Like no bro, she is a victim of you, you are not even remotely on the same side in this situation. He refers to the problems and situation like this external thing that he had no control over as if all of this isn’t a direct consequence of his actions and was entirely avoidable.

Til this day, the Try Guys’ initial response video was one of the best statements for a controversy with heavy legal implications. They were sincere, they actually addressed the situation, did their best to be professional, and asked the public to not harass the people. Especially the women involved. This was a class act even though they were hurt, angry, and betrayed business wise and personally since Ariel was a dear person in their lives. Their response mirrored their intelligence and overall personal growth. Ned’s recent video reflects his growth or lack of one.

this is what really grinds my gears about Ned: he took what used to be a family channel with 60k subscribers for him, Ariel, and their two children, deleted all the content, and rebranded it into a podcast to make it seem he gained those subscribers organically! AND THEN, he drags Ariel into it to try and make a profit from the scandal! he's so disgusting! 😒

The soft spoken, weak voice with vocal fry in his "apology" makes me rage because it's absolutely performative. And then he shows he didn't fully listen to Ariel and how she felt because he kept trying to pull the "What about my pain" card. I feel so bad for Ariel having to be put through that podcast.

If you see Ariel in public, please leave her alone. Do not film her. Do not talk to her. Don't even offer your sympathy or condolences. Just pretend you don't recognise her.

We need to let this poor woman live ❤

I detest the way he sees her unforgiveness as her not healing or moving on. She can do both of those things and never forgive his actions. Even if she does one day, it doesn't mean she ever wants him back. Who the hell does he think he is?!

I think one reason Eugene was so obviously pissed about the whole situation is because he was very close friends with Ariel and never seemed to like Ned much. So he was seeing a bestie get screwed over by a dude he probably always found not good enough for her.

This is one of the only times I can recall a male public figure getting the proper amount of backlash for cheating & ruining their family. Often scandals like this are covered in a way that it makes it seem like no big deal, so in my opinion it was really nice seeing a channel with so many male front facing personalities condemn Ned so harshly and explain exactly how harmful his actions were to everyone

God that part with Ariel talking about how she couldn’t trust anyone anymore almost made me cry. I couldn’t imagine having my trust shattered that thoroughly by someone I loved. I can’t believe he thought it was a good idea to show everyone just how much he hurt her. Every time he laughed when she was talking I saw red.

Man, the one part I love seeing everyone react to wasn't in here! Near the end, Ned tells Ariel about how he wants to be giving people a voice and talking to people instead of being the subject. She chuckles, he asks what, and she just goes "No, it's just... do you think you're interesting enough?"
