Don't forget power steering fluid! I'm at 35k on my taco and wheel pretty hard on 35s and man that stuff was black and smelled burnt.

Oh dear Lord I've got over 300,000 miles on my manual transmission and I've never changed it. Just checked it and it's still going strong. It's a w56 in my crawler and have never had a problem. I think I'll change it now hahaha

I have a maintenance schedule for all my fluids. I do all my fluid changes and grease points myself.I then know it is done where they are.I keep a log of any maintenance that is done.

Most overlooked part is greasing and specially the shaft. Most Toyota dealers don't even have grease guns anymore.
