Something I always have admired about Paul, is that for all the triumphs of the year, and even the 40th anniversary - his first point, and what seemed to affect him the most - was having to do layoffs.

You can tell from almost all of his interviews and chats, that he loves his community, his teams, his people, and you know that just had to gut him.

I really appreciate that about him. When people ask him what he’s most proud of. He always mentions his people, and being able to provide them a means, and a living, and a shared goal.

If more companies were like PRS, we’d be a lot better off

PRS’s biggest challenge moving forward might be deciding what a future PRS Company could ever be without Paul. He’s the man and the company.

We need a special run for Paul's 70th birthday that Paul contributes to the builds. Something on par with Paul's 28, Violin, Collection series. Do it!!!

At PRS, they not only know how to make fantastic instruments, but they also deserve applause for the way they tell their story. One of the reasons G&L disappeared is because they couldn't convey Leo's story to the market and the public. Conveying your vision, passion and message is not easy. PRS and his team do this in an exceptional way. Merry Christmas to everyone at PRS.

Sorry to hear about the lay offs you had to do, PRS Team, and my heart goes out to all the staff affected. I've been part of lay offs (twice) working in tech, and it's no easy thing to go through. Things will get better. Keep up hope!

On the brighter side, these fireside chats for the last couple of years have been a wonderful addition to my December watch list. I've got a 2021 Custom 22 that I play A LOT and I love dearly. Thank you for building a guitar that I fell in love with in this lifetime!

Congratulations in your 40th year!

I have owned many guitars in my 50+ years of playing and collecting guitars. I can't tell you how many I've owned. Now I have an even dozen very special instruments, acoustic and electric. All of them are older or vintage instruments... Except my three PRS guitars. PRS is the ONLY maker, factory, boutique or individual luthier built that I look for their new guitars. Because they are the only instruments that keep getting better and more refined. From the one of a kind, Core to the insanely good for the money SE models, out of the box they are fantastic! I appreciate that passion .

Great, wide ranging discussion, and you can feel Paul’s sadness over the workforce reduction. Nice to see a company with heart and soul in addition to great innovation and build quality. Well done, gentlemen.
