He deserves perfect worship because He is God. 2) Thanksgiving - Gratitude because all we have comes from God. The Holy Sacrifice is the Church&apos;s greatest act of gratitude. 3) &nbsp;Reparation - Sin (BOTH mortal and venial) is an offense against the infinite majesty of God, therefore only Jesus can offer perfect reparation for our sins. &nbsp;4) Petition - Pray means to ask. Place your prayers on the altar along with Jesus&apos; sacrifice knowing that Jesus will present them to the Father. &nbsp;Every joy, every suffering, every labor, and every cross may be spiritually placed upon the altar to be united with Christ&apos;s perfect sacrifice: &nbsp;this is the interior participation that the church has always encouraged. <br><br>In Holy Communion the faithful receive the fruits of that Sacrifice of Calvary, drawing strength to live a Faithful Catholic life. &nbsp;<br><br>Lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi-&quot;the law of what is prayed is the law of what is believed is the law of what is lived.&quot; This emphasizes the interconnectedness of prayer, belief, and daily living according to the Catholic Faith. &nbsp;How we worship reflects what we believe and determines how we must live our Faith.
