  There will never be an accurate count for the number of deaths, too many people have been evaporated in horrific explosions.

  Putin's Vietnam? If the numbers are accurate it's way past Vietnam. Russia is losing per month what the US lost in Vietnam over a decade. These are WWI scale numbers.

  Injured to killed ratios are typically 1/3 in any war. So if they have gathered a proven number of 250k killed, then there have been about 750k wounded, a million casualties is insane for anyone. Even if 500k wounded can go back to fighting, 500k killed or severely maimed/disabled is insane.
