May Robson -- no character actress in today's Hollywood could top her.  Particularly loved her in "Bringing Up Baby".  Carol Lombard had quite an acting range -- very good performance here.  Excellent film althogether.

Just when I thought I had seen most of the iconic great movies of that era of the 1930s and 40s too many to count having been born in 1948 during the Golden Age of Hollywood this wonderful gem pops up! I've seen several Carole Lombard  movies this one to remind us what a tragic loss ber great beauty and talent and humanitarian efforts of selling war bonds were dying at just age 32 like the late great FDR said when he eulogjzsd her. Gone  <br>But  not forgotten.  Outstanding performances  by all. Could see this as a hit  Broadway play back  then or today.  ❤❤😊

If you liked this movie you'll love "Lady for a Day" by Frank Capra starring May Robson and Warren William. Made a year previous to this one.
