  My dad was a lawyer for over 4 decades and we were always taught even if you know and are 100% sure you are innocent never talk to police without a lawyer present.

  My best friend got pregnant when we were 15, in 9th grade. &nbsp;No one knew except for me. &nbsp;She went into labor during PE, and literally no one believed me. &nbsp;I finally convinced the Principal to call 911, and then I called her mom. &nbsp;She thought we were pulling a prank, and hung up on me. &nbsp;It is possible for people to not know, and be in complete denial.

  There are only two times you never ever say a word to the police when your lawyer is not present:<br>1. When you are guilty.<br>2. When you are innocent.

  This is a hard one. But the one thing I know - that medical examiner needed to be admonished. She should not have kept her license or job after a &quot;mistake&quot; like that! I&apos;m horrified. I can&apos;t imagine this was her first or last mistake, and that needs to be rectified.

  In the end of the documentary, they gave helplines for women suffering from Eating Disorders. They gave no helplines for mothers-to-be feeling they do not want to keep their baby. Words fail me on that.

  The detectives convinced her that she burned her baby after she told them “no” 17 times. So sad to think how many innocent people are in jail due to false confessions.

  I’m sorry but that medical examiner should be fired. She ruled it a homicide when there was no scientific evidence of it. Like how do you retract saying bones were burned? She says “based on autopsy results alone I cannot determine if it was a live birth” - she literally had one job, and that’s all she could speak into. How they took her word beyond the evidence is mindblowing.
