I'm from Tashkent. The $10:gets you almost nothing there. The average trip to the farmers market will cost you $100+ for the family of 3. To buy one school shirt for a child will cost you $10 or more. How much do you pay for the same shirt in the USA? Probably half or a little more. What is the average salary in the USA? At least $2-3000. In Uzbekistan - $200. You have to live there to understand all this and face everyday problems. When you travel and travel alone and you already do not have big needs it is different.
