  The reason a lot of Mexicans drink soft drinks instead of water is because in many rural areas coke was a lot cheaper than clean water, enough so that when it came to giving babies something to drink they would rather give a baby a soft drink instead of contaminated water if they could not afford clean water. Coke especially marketed in rural areas aggressively to have life time customers and small local shops sold coke so they could have a living and now coke/soft drinks are integrated heavily in Mexican society.

  As a Mexican who grew up in the USA these jokes are funny as hell. Especially if you know the context. Family Guy is so good at making fun of everyone I’m never offended.

  Alan is so funny, haha. I was already laughing at the jokes, but then I started laughing even harder because everyone else was sitting there wondering if they were even allowed to laugh while Alan was absolutely losing it. 😂 Some of those jokes were really dark, but as Sheldon used to say, "It's funny because it's true." Hahaha.
