You missed a huge Harvard/Max Plank DNA study in April on the Carthaginians. 90% of the 2,800 year old specimen's were of Greek or Italian genetics. Very few were from the Levant. Yes, the Philistines were Sea People/Canaanite mixture. But the majority mixed with the Phoenicians and settled west of Egypt, and became what we know as the Carthaginians. It explains why the "Phoenicians" were completely untouched by the Sea People. But actually grew after their arrival.

So, a group of invaders from the Eastern and Central Mediterranean turn out to be … wait for it … from the Eastern and Central Mediterranean ! But eventually they blended into the local population. Duh! 🙄

One of the most chilling episodes on here and other vids on the Bronze Age collapse was the hurriedly-comosed clay tablet that someone put together and put into the fire to harden as the barbarians were almost at the gate! And was fpund later by archaeologists.
