  Hansi is just a complete genius. He has taken this core of barca through its natural course of evolution. Giving answers to all the questions we had during xavi era.<br><br>1) Pedri in the AM (no 10 role): During xavi era we saw pedri to be the hub for creativity in the AMF role because of his vision and creativity. But there were doubts about his final output in terms of goals and assist and his physical ability to hold of defenders in that congested area of the pitch. So the concensors then was that he needed to build &nbsp;physically and sacrifice some of his creativity for directness interms of shooting more often. But when Hansi came he just tweaked pedri a little to be more agile rather than massive bulk up in muscle and convert him to a register/orchestrator. With this he didnt really need to sacrifice his creativity any more but used it in a more suited role to his attributes. <br><br>2)The Raphina paradox: in the xavi era we saw raphina as an all out RW that was meant to hug the touchline. But he had his short coming of not being proficient in taken players one on one and also inability to create chances from the width. Hansi came and converted him to an inverted attacking winger that attacked space behind rather than trying to beat his makers 1 on 1. This worked perfectly because Raphina ability (Agility, speed, aggression directness, good shooting stats) suited this role. Now he has evolved again to being a false 9 which still suits his qualities.<br><br>3)Busi retirement (the loss &nbsp;of barca pivot identity): for years barcelona football identity was hinged on the exploit of Busi as the anchor man/pivot through which barca built play. Towards the tail end of his career at barcelona he regressed and it dawn on fans that the end was near because his profile was too unique to be replicated. Xavi suffered for this in his final season because of his staunch belief that that was the only way to play the barca way. So he was reluctant to try a double pivot &nbsp;and played fdj there and we saw how that turn out. Hansi came and converted to a double pivot but not like a traditional pivot system that functioned on the dynamics of 2 box to box midfielders. Rather a pivot duo that possessed similar attributes to play as regista and a dynamic no 8 at the same time. In essence they complemented each other (fdj and pedri) &nbsp;while dominating midfield battles through possession rather than through physical prowess. Now theres an evolution again with Bernal ( who possesses the potential to be a true pivot but hasnt gotten to his full potential)<br><br>4)The roaming left back: Much of barcas success in the messi era had in part been dependent on the exploit of Alba on the LWB role(especially during the post neymar era) we looked up to Alba as an outlet for creativity on the left because of his ability to cover the whole stretch of the left wing and diliver pinpoint crosses into the 18 yard box. Out went Alba in came Balde with similar attribute. But balde was lacking some thing in his final output. Hansi &nbsp;just made a very subtle change that over hauled barca play on the left. Now we have Gordon who has the ability to create on the wing like a traditional winger so the natural evolution will be to get a fullback who can attack centrally while giving you better defensive security through the center (this is important because this was a problem for barca last season especially when barca lost the ball in defensive transition and left the defensive highline exposed to counter attacks). Xavi espart ticks this box perfectly and thats why Balde who was indispensible last season now has to settle for a subsidiary role on the bench. For him to be able to get back in that team Balde would have evovle his game to suit the current dynamic of the team.<br><br>It just amazing how Hansi has been so tactically dynamic to meet the needs of the team as a whole. And i believe he still has more tactical evolutions to share the team as time goes on

  flick is using the left back to become and extra central midfielder to create more numbers in the midfield. and thats what balde cannot do as he doesnt have the brain for it. cancelo can also do that well

  exactly, while other &quot;conventional&quot; fans &amp; pundits still stress the point of needing a LFB, they just don&apos;t see why Espart is golden for this juncture of Barca team construction; there will be times where Cancelo &amp; Balde will be needed to switch up the formation, but for La Liga play what he brings to Lamine playing more central &amp; Raphina as false 9, just golden bro.

  La Masia is just a cheat code in football <br><br>i do hope that Espart has a great and long career, &nbsp;it is an injury risk though playing a lot of minutes at such a young age
