  I was married in 1973. We were able to buy the most beautiful comfortable white satin shoes in those days. Mine had square toes and medium wine glass heels, very elegant. You don&apos;t see lovely shoes like that these days. In those days even ordinary shoes were available in any width from A to E

  Wow, those coronation shoes of Queen Elizabeth II were fabulous, I&apos;ve never seen them before. They wouldn&apos;t look out of place today, Catherine would look great in something like that, but I&apos;ve never seen her in open toed heels.
