The time honoured adage that ‘Not only justice should be done but should appear to have been done’ steps in here. This adage casts a duty, an onus on every judicial officer in the country. Not only they should be impartial between so many segments of populace, but carry the onus of appearing to be so.!

I read the article and respect Ram immensely! I was waiting for to hear him. This act of the CJI is definitely not in line with the constitutional responsibility! Regrettable!

People have lost faith in the SC, the only institution that they earlier thought hadn't come under BJP influence.

If CJI is unable to withstand the pressure from Modi govt then rather than creating a certain image of himself, he should just step down to protect the integrity and digity of his position. The position of "Chief Justice" is more important than the person "DY Chandrachud".

People should learn that bravery and courage not come from just sitting on higher authority it come from heart with the love of people a normal man Mahatma Gandhi dried the blood of Britishers and many more like hr Khanna former justice of sc so every citizen of india should learn from these to not lower the knee against any wrong doings

In these days of dangerous politicisation of Hinduism, the Chief Justice should have been wary of publicly elucidating what he thought was the significance of his personal visit to a temple , right? Does Justice automatically accommodate traditional religiosity? One doesn't think it does.

It's all about post retirement....
Taking the side of winning party in the coming elections will all always have an advantage for the future endeavours...
Can get a rajyasabha seat, can get a governor post, or a lieutenant governor.,
Advisor, party ticket/ favour for family member........ Greed has no limits....
Or else people just have to live in denial or just say circumstantial or worthiness....
