    As a German i think it&apos;s justified but a lot of these criminals didn&apos;t get the sentences they would have deserved. Sadly a lot of the people that committed the crimes didn&apos;t even got caught. Especially those who didn&apos;t saw that this was utterly inhumane and were even proud about what they have done.

    My maternal grandfather was a US Marine in WW2 and my paternal grandfather was a seaman in the US Navy hunting German U-boats in the Atlantic and protecting transatlantic convoys. &nbsp;They both passed away in the 2010&apos;s. &nbsp;To me, the UN and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are the true lasting embodiment of everything they fought for!
