  Since Anthony has a little bit of Yoruba ancestry, I’m going to give him a Yoruba name - Oluwafemi, which means “God loves me” because he certainly loves Anthony and gave him a wonderful father and siblings. The nickname for Oluwafemi is Femi.

  I did a DNA test 10 years ago hoping to find my biological family. 2 weeks ago, it worked! I found my father!

  I did my dna and found the man who raised me is not my bio dad... it was a shock but it's ok he's still my dad, he got me out of foster care too.

  I did a DNA test five years ago and found out at 69 years old that I  was adopted.  Was it a shock? Yes. Did it change the way I  felt about my adoptive parents? Yes, it made me love them more because they loved me unconditionally, and they didn't have to. Have i found biological family members? Yes, I  have found half-siblings, and some of them have kids, and some have grandkids, and one even has great grandkids. I have found out who my mother was and a great deal on my maternal side.  I was raised Hispanic, am I disappointed that I'm not Hispanic? Yes, but I'm Hispanic at heart because that is  the culture I was raised in. I finally understand why people looked at me funny when I said I was Mexican. I am very lucky to have two families that love me, one that raised  me and one that I'm tied to by DNA. Both nature and nurture make you who you are.
