  About drawing manga and anime, my aunt and family who studied Islam says it’s okay to draw characters because they’re not real and don’t have a soul, they don’t represent real life humans

  Remember brothers and sisters, Islam isn&apos;t about extremes, it&apos;s about intention. Drawing should be about creativity and letting your imagination run free. Drawing a bug you saw on the way to school in your notebook is fine, as long as you don&apos;t use the drawing as an idol to worship. Animating a dude doing cool tricks on a skateboard is fine, unless your intention is to recreate Allah&apos;s creations. Also, I&apos;m a 10 year old kid, this information might be wrong.

  This ruling is one of the most confusing rulings to me because i don&apos;t understand how drawing an inanimate object like a mountain is not imitating the creation of Allah but drawing a human is. Not to mention there are inanimate objects that have been scientifically proven to be alive like plants, flowers, trees, etc. and also if it&apos;s literally the sin that gives you the most severe punishment then how come it wasn&apos;t said once in the Quran? You&apos;d think that the worst punishment for a sin would be spoken about in the Quran but no it&apos;s only in Hadiths for some reason.

  Bro, why do people not understand that during the time of the prophet, paper and pen drawing were not a thing! People used to make idols/sculptures for worship, sculpture with clay, 3D, not for hobby but for WORSHIP! And THATS what the prophet prohibited. Why would Allah possibly care when a silly teenager draws a face in his sketchbook?<br><br>And IF drawing on paper were haram, so would clicking pictures of people and taking selfies. Also, we can&apos;t label ANYTHING HARAM if its not mentioned specifically in the QURAN.

  I understand the hadith about Allah being the only Creator, and I fully believe that only He can create life. When I draw, I never think I’m making like Allah — I’m only depicting the way a writer describes a person in a story.<br><br>My drawings are not for shirk, not for idols, not to be worshipped. They’re only for imagination, storytelling, or beauty, much like calligraphy or architecture, which express creativity.<br><br>If my intention was arrogance or to imitate Allah’s creation, then it would indeed be wrong. But with an intention of creativity and no risk of idolatry, I believe this falls under things that ‘depend’ on niyyah — and therefore is not haram in itself.
