  I am a retired civil engineer. I have watched you building this bridge step by step. I feel humbled by your determination, common sense and outstanding logistics and material management.   You&apos;re amazing :)<br><br>I come from a country that builds bridges to be washed away because of the rain (New Zealand).<br>I don&apos;t know much about bridges but I&apos;m a white-water kayaker and know about rivers.<br><br>You should pile up some boulders behind your bridge foundations as it needs to be pointed on both sides. The water will circle around and undermine it from behind otherwise.<br>Also be careful about the steepness of the river-bed leading into the bridge.<br>If there is a hole in front of the bridge, the river will make it bigger and the bridge will tip forwards. <br>If the river is steep, the water will be faster and will dig channels between the bridge foundations and undermine it from the sides.<br><br>Before the rainy season, I would spend some time trying to give the river an even slope in front of the bridge.<br><br>You&apos;re inspiring, my grandparents would be very happy to see this :)
