Yin fu bagua as I was taught (by a man who had learned YinFu and Cheng styles), has these small animal forms, I played the Dragon pretending to be the Lion. The Dragon can pretend to be one of the other 7 animals, but there is no Dragon pretending to be another Dragon. This goes for the other 7 animals. The forms can be done in either a low, middle or high stance. Stationary stance with twisting waist animal hand techniques; stepping with animal hand techniques etc and some interesting kicking stuff😂. Undoubtedly there will be practioners who trained more than me. London 🇬🇧

Those 3 stories aren't mutually exclusive. He got mugged, learned Kung fu, sought him out, got his attention, then fought him.

Wow, can’t believe you’re covering Bagua!! Cover Xingyiquan next - sister art to Bagua and taiji!

Having studied from both lineages, If you understand your 8 changes no matter the lineage you will get what Ba Gua is about. With that being said, the Yin Fu lineage does have more material, which can be helpful to some, but more is not always better.

I was very lucky to have been taught Jin Tsung Dao Kung Fu from a man who learned it in the military while in Taiwan back in 1974.I was only 15 when I started and am now 67. I practice everyday despite bad knees.
