This channel is very useful. The saints story helps the new generation to follow the words of God in a practical way. It has the power to get closer to God.

And yet I still haven't attended a Divine Liturgy service! Saint Theophan the Recluse is gently coaxing me along and opening my eyes!

God bless you all, from an Eastern Orthodox curious Roman Catholic! I've been studying Mount Athos and all the holy monks and fathers, for over a decade! Elder Cleopa is one of my favorites of recent memory. Saint Mary of Egypt was a holy ascetic whom I admire. And as a recovering addict/alcoholic, I like to read & meditate on the Akathist of the Inexhaustible Cup! Most Holy Theotokos, help me! The Orthodox are pulling me further & further away from the Tiber.

The Chronicles of the Desert are great wonders and real testimonials for the truth of Orthodoxy. It comforts me to see the results of these true humans become vessels of Christ. Their lives let me know that my faith in the Orthodox Church is a gift from GOD. May GOD continue to Bless us all.
