I think Moon likes moving water. He’d probably love a cat water fountain. They have a little pump that provides a small, continuous stream of water for cats that like to see water moving. We had a cat that would only drink out of a running tap, or water that he had just heard running, including bath water. Sometimes, they also can’t judge the depth very well, so they will test it by making it move, even if it means spilling it out of their bowl or putting their paws into it. Moon is a lovely boy, his pose at the end is just so typical of a big ole boy cat. Lucky cat Mom you are ❤

Cats are instinctively thinking running water is healthy. That’s why he moves the bowl. He wants to make sure it is running water before drinking

You fell for a tiny cat wheel. Wheels that small are uncomfortable for a cat’s back. You really have to go for one of the large sized ones, like from onefastcat or something similar. You could donate that one to a shelter or rescue for kittens. They’d have a blast on it. (If you watch the livestream from Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary, they have a ton of cat wheels, and there are often cats running on them.)

Loose cat nip and/or especially cat nip spray will show him where to go and make him MORE THAN HAPPY to sit on, roll in, scratch EVERYWHERE you want that sweet Blue Russian to go!❤
