  best i&apos;ve read: &nbsp;Cover penalty is a penalty to attacking models. &nbsp;Some get it, some don&apos;t. &nbsp;It is <b>not</b> a bonus to the defending unit. &nbsp;Helps me keep it straight.

  My very casual group of 40K 10e players, never fully understood the 10e rules. <br><br>we got it mostly right most of the time. &nbsp; but I would say that we never all had a full grasp on the rules <br><br>part of it may be because we were pretty casual. we didn&apos;t play all that often. and we only played in our group. So we never really got outside perspectives. <br><br>I keep wanting to dump 40K all together. A 30 minute video to explain such an important rule is just so draining

  Best summary of 11th line of sight I&apos;ve seen. I like that you can assume terrain areas and cover has elements of the battlefield including smoke, debris, fire, or other conditions on the battlefield that would block line of sight. It makes infantry make more sense that they would be using these conditions to avoid fire from a narrative standpoint, and it makes the game more balanced imho that an entire army cannot be shot up turn 1 by your opponents backline of tanks. Now stepping in terrain is a must, and by doing so you inadvertently are taking objectives by design. I personally think this is the best edition we&apos;ve seen so far. Great video

  Translating the intention of the rules versus how the rules are written is always a challenge at the beginning of an edition. &nbsp;This one is especially hard because all the edge case rules were left “as is” for many units.
