Prince tried to warn everybody about the shadiness in the music industry, but very few listened.

We used to think they were reckless with their money or didn’t pay their bills. Now we’re realizing that they are just honoring the conditions of their awful contracts signed decades ago.

Even MJ tried to tell us that 'they' are working him into the ground, which they literally did.

This is exactly what Prince was talking about back when he changed his name to the symbol in order to get control of his masters.

I' think a lot of this with these athletes and entertainers that aren't extremely educated. They don't want to downsize their life when they get older. They want to keep living the same lifestyle. They've always lived. It's that simple moving to a smaller house. Maybe sell some of your trinkets, some of your cars. You can't drive all at once in the first place. And yes, bad contracts too.

Frankie Valli is still out there at age 92. He's like a mummified corpse trying lip-synch his hits.

This goes for actors too. They have to keep working and get regular people jobs in between acting jobs.

Michael Jackson was already tired at 13, 14 years young! The Music Industry can suck the life out of people.
