Between DC Finest and Compact Comics, it is an amazing time to be a DC Fan. Best publishing initiatives in decades

Thank goodness for manga. It pushed the big two to FINALLY make a product that is convenient to binge read!

Hopefully we'll see Death of Superman and Knightfall in this series, I want to collect them as DC Finest editions

They probably started Flash’s second volume at issue 200 because his omnibus run ends at 199.

DC's made a great answer to Epic Collections here, I hope DC Finest goes on for many years to come. As someone who is new to collecting Big 2 stuff, this came out at the perfect time for me. I hadn't read pretty much anything from DC before this, so now I can easily access stories from every era of DC. Kinda surprised by how I'm liking the old collections, Golden Age and Silver Age are unexpectedly fun. Immediate post-Crisis Batman has been amazing too

Would love to see some DC Finests for more niche characters like Captain Carrot, Rex the Wonder Dog, and Ambush Bug

Recently got the Static volume and read the first three issues. Remarkable stuff, wish McDuffie was still with us

I really like the DC finest line

The fact that DC finest is collecting comics that havent been collected in paperback or omnibus is amazing

Bronze age Flash has been avoiding omnibus releases, so its nice that DC finest is picking up where the silver age collections left off

I have been getting this line is amazing. Being a primarily DC fan, then looking Epic Collections is just sitting at corner wondering akin to "Why am I not getting that treatment" lol

This is a fantastically helpful and detailed rundown for a (relatively) DC comics newbie. Thanks so much for putting this together!!

Long time DC fan and loving these collections - I have always wanted DC to do a line like the Epics of colour, comprehensive collections without any gaps!

Three of my favorite characters need to be published in this series:

-Firestorm: Not only is it one of the most powerful and unique DC heroes but he also had quite the long run back in the day.

-The Creeper: There´s not much of him. There´s the original in the 60´s and the sadly (maligned because of the artist) mini-series in the 90s that´s just basically a modern origin. So it could be done in a single volume.

-Lobo: With the character appearing the Supergirl movie all the more reason to pubish his 90s run.

Yeah the only thing from the late 80s Batman missing is Legends of the Dark Knight on-going. But I got a feeling that series, Shadows of the Bat, Gotham Knights, Batman Confidential, Batman Family, etc will be bundled together as "Batman Family" similar to how the Superman satellites are bundles together as "Superman Family".
