I used to worry that the time would go by too fast and I would get home feeling like I didn't go. My fix for that is to look at all the details around me, listen to the music playing, smell the smells of the foods cooking, etc. Enjoy every moment and soak it in even when standing in line. My favorite is to notice all the different lights at night❤

One of my very first memories was riding the flying elephants with Pluto! It was so surreal to little me at the time, I thought I dreamed it. Then I asked my mom a little while ago and she confirmed that it actually happened. Pluto has a special place in my heart to this day, disney really is so magical

The character fear is real. I was terrified of Cinderella when I was 4ish. In my 40’s I still remember that experience. (I do love all the characters now 😂😂)

I never go to Disneyland or DCA with any expectations so I am never disappointed. Sometimes I don't get on a ride, but there are so much more at the Parks. The buildings and ambiance. Unfortunately, most people are concerned about the rides.<br><br>I have been going to Disneyland since 1956 and I miss the old ticket book days where you had to decide on the rides and spend time looking around and enjoying the feeling of the Parks. I have been known to go to Disneyland and ride only a few rides, but have a wonderful day. It is about the experience. <br><br>I have never had an issue with dining, but you must be willing to go at off times.

We lost one of my boys once. At the beginning of the day we made sure he had our phone numbers on him and told him to find a cast member near by if he got lost. Well, he got lost and did as we taught him and the cast members were great and called us and we quickly were reunited. 💙

I've always told my kids that if we get separated to find something tall to stand beside. Tree,pole,etc. Then I could easily check where to find them
