Perfect timing to upload this. Jordan Peterson just posted an excellent commentary with Bishop Barron that evolves into a discussion on the concept of play as the highest form of being. Or, more simply put, living in the Kingdom of God.<br><br>~"Something that is as good as it can possibly be, yet keeps getting better."

I am very impressed by both the insightful lecture and the interesting Q&A. My sincerest gratitude for sharing this content for free on the internet!<br><br>As an aside, I am curious about the usage of the English term "Spirit of Play" in a philosophical and religious context. Before this lecture, I only heard Jordan Peterson express the idea in some of his lectures. It strikes me as a very compelling and to my mind rather novel and hopefully fruitful idea. I also find the link with Eastern philosophy and culture very interesting. Looking forward to listening to the following lectures

This is great but as a native speaker of Dutch I must insist that Huizinga is not pronounced as hausinger. "haizinga'' with a g as in go would be closer.

if removing the frontal cortex of rat, for them to continue playing,<br>then does that imply also, the frontal cortex of a rat is, dare i say, doing frontal cortex things, such a personality, self-consciousness, sel-awareness etc.

I don't think "What is the human being" is in the top ten fundamental questions I would ask about reality. I think some that I would start with are: What is existence, how big is the universe, are there other universes, what is time, how many dimensions are there, what is consciousness, etc.
