  I attended a guest lecture by Prof. Dyson in which he talked about spheres and his astrochicken idea. He came across as a serious scientist who used these far-out concepts as a prompt to ask real questions about what kind of future we want to invent. He was aware of the joke. We were aware of the joke. It was still a valuable experience.
