  My mom couldn&apos;t stand how daycare was treating me and my brother. She quit her job and became a stay at home mom. She took care of us while my dad worked in the office and building our new house. She took us to school, the library, the park and helped us through sickness and stress while making our house a home for my dad to return each night. I can&apos;t thank her enough for giving us that decade before she went back to work.

  I love how Dhar Mann makes stories like this. Many stay-at-home moms are being seen as lazy and had no ambition. People think they had it easy but they don&apos;t!

  I’m also a stay at home mom. Before I had my child, I worked hard and earned good money. But being a stay at home mom is the most tiring job and the most fulfilling job in the world, people really underestimate us mothers.

  My mom has worked as both a stay at home mom and a work at home accountant since I was a baby. So, I guess you can say, she’s always had to balance two jobs at home. Although, a stay-at-home mom is many jobs in one. It involves being a cook, a cleaner, a tutor for the children, a gardener, and sometimes a nurse when the children are sick or hurt. So, more like at least ten jobs.

  I was a stay at home mom for years when my kids were babies/toddlers, we fell on hard times because its life &amp; sometimes that happens to people. I tried to get a job, but daycare was so expensive. It would have cost us more just so I could work. A lot of parents in my area judged me a lot but they also had mamas and grandparents that watched their kids for free while they worked full time. I didn’t. The biggest misconception is stay at home moms just lay around all day and do nothing. Even to this day, I work now during the hours my kids are in school, I’m constantly doing something around the house when I’m home, then dinner, homework, cleaning, laundry etc. etc. I’ve always worked my ass off even when I didn’t have a job &amp; I still do now. Nobody’s better than the next. I wish people would stop judging others.
