Simply standing there singing her heart out. No crazy stuff. No auto-tuner. No capped teeth and plastic surgery. Just her incredible voice and great musicians. No wonder she was the number one selling female of the 70s.

To the youth of today... THIS is called talent.  No auto-tune... no pitch-correctors... no computer-generated add-ons or effects needed... just raw pure talent and a perfect voice.  Her moves were not choreographed, just her swaying to the music.  She could literally sing anything... country, rock, old standards, or spanish... sing sweet or growl or really belt it out.  Sadly, what passes for 'talent' on the modern stage can't hold a candle to this.

It’s amazing how she can sing so tender and sweet, then sing with a growl and bravado. Man this girl had it all.

She became a musical icon because she had it all...voice, looks and sincerity.  She's no diva...which is something you just can't say about other women who became stars in music. I could listen to her any time, any day and feel like I just drank the best elixir in the world. She's a treasure.

This is when concerts were all about the music,  not the spectacle

I am a Japanese 57 years old. I was born in Japan 1960. When I was a high-school boy, those days were the late 1970s, Linda Ronstadt was my idol. I knew her by Japanese music magazine.  And  promotion video of her LOSE AGAIN at that time I saw on television decided her charm on me.She was lovely, sexy, and she had songs that resonate in the mind. Seeing this video, I remember my youth. She was my longing.

Attention Miley, Britney, Adele, Lady Gaga and all the other "yelling on key" divas - THIS is how you sing with power, conviction, and audience-captivating style.  No auto-tune, no costume gimmicks, no stage pyrotechnics - just pure unadulterated talend.

She is so beautiful here, but her talent is twice her beauty. Man, she could sing. Love you, Linda.

Talented band.  She just walks in and starts singing. No smoke machines and laser lights. Just spotlighting with colored background lights.  Just singing one song after another. What a performer.  The voice, the songs, the look, the audience.

The only person I've ever seen in concert who can sing better live than on CD.

I have every single one of her albums.  Went to so many of her concerts growing up. So glad I did. Nobody holds a candle near to her.
