Pizza Flix,  you've got another of my favorites!  And Dots is my favorite Pre Code actress. And with Joan Blondell when she was still Joan Brunette-dell !  This movie is a lot of fun.

These early movies were better because they put more in an hour than the later two hour varieties which often dragged.

That hit the spot, for a nice, rainy afternoon's entertainment over here in Thailand. Thanks PizzaFlix!

Old movies have an uncanny discernment from modern flicks: they don't try to give you headaches!

Joan Blondell with a brunette bob?  Snappy dialogue, lots of innuendo and a twist at the end (she goes for the old guy!).  Lewis Stone, as he would say in some movies later in the decade, needs a heart-to-heart talk with himself.  Lots of good-looking gals and one who's trying to make up her mind.  Or something.  Pushing the old Code for all it's worth.

Pizza Flix, Love your channel. I was going to say never saw Joan Blondell so young. But saw her in movie &quot;Sinners Holiday (Penny arcade) with James Cagney in 1930. At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHh4vgO2rdo&amp;t=152">2:32</a> Kate is dressed like one of those lesbians dressed like a male only missing wearing her monocle over an eye. Wow! Joan Blondell and Dorothy Mackaill do look like real sisters here. I thought Dorothy was Joan Blondell at first. LOL. For those who do not know At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHh4vgO2rdo&amp;t=925">15:25</a> Joan Blondell is on the left and Dorothy Mackaill is in &nbsp;bed on right. I loved the ending!
