  This was such a masterclass on this album, so well done! Thank you so much for taking the time to create and share it. George Michael is one of my all-time favorite male vocalists. There really aren’t many artists like him. I used to listen to this album on repeat in the late ’90s, but I never knew the full story behind its creation.  I’m back to watch your video again and listen to the album with a whole new appreciation. Thank you for such an insightful and beautifully done post.

  A year after Older album was released, in 96,  George lost his mother to cancer. How this man remained sane after all his tradagies and still remain in somehow focused on continuing his music career is mind-blowing.

  Older is a remarkable record. This is my favorite record in George Michael&apos;s legacy, period. I love the intimacy this record is so deep &amp; sincerely brilliant. This is what Sony &amp; others in the US missed out on. Just a remarkable record &amp; I listen to this record constantly, because of the solace the songs still carry today.

  I entered this video knowing it was an album about the grief of his partner and mother, but everything you have the breakdown has been wonderful. Great work. And yes, this is why we miss George. He was ahead of his time, he was too brilliant.
