Which police question do you think gets people in trouble the fastest: “Do you know why I pulled you over?” or “Have you had anything to drink?” Drop your answer below

In my experience the best thing to say when they ask is “did you forget already?”

Thank you for this video. I was stopped by an officer and inadvertently said the right response. I was into the intersection when the traffic light turned yellow. A cop pulled me over. He asked me I guess you know why I pulled you over. I said to the cop: No I do not. I can give you my drivers license, proof of insurance, and registration. Do you want these items. After the cop said yes, I provided these 3 items and he went to his car. A few minutes later her returned and I said to the cop am I free to leave. He said yes. I thanked him and received back my 3 items and left. I was lucky. I did the right thing without knowing the advice you provided. I will file away your verbal suggestions for future use.

I was pulled over on my way to lunch by state police. Super nice guy, he asked “Do you know why I stopped you”? I responded no I do not, I have my license, proof of insurance, and registration card for you, he said sure. He then said he stopped me for going 42 in a 30. I simply responded not directly admitting what I had done as I wasn’t paying attention to my speed as I was paying attention to the road as it was so congested and I was thinking about what I was going to order at the drive thru as I was on a half hour time limit and if I was actually going that fast, I feel bad because I want everyone to be safe so it won’t happen again. He appreciated that respectfully then we started bsing about my 05’ eclipse and how nice it looked, he said he used to have one brand new when he was 16. He just had nostalgic love for the car, I told him everything I had done to keep it on the road and he was impressed. He gave me a written warning and sent me on my way. Super cool cop. This is why we have police, to watch for things we sometimes miss. Some of these advice videos arent super necessary as most people including police will be good people, no amount of polite words you say will stop you from getting pepper sprayed, tased or arrested by a corrupt cop.

Thank you for this information. God willing, I will never have to use it. But knowing this will undoubtedly make life easier. God bless you

I love that you and others provide this service. But it is kind of depressing when you say "the roadside is not the place...the courtroom is". I mean, you are 100% right but man does this reality REALLY suck for anyone who isn't a cop or lawyer. For you guys, its just another day. For us it sucks. Sucks bad. The money and the time alone (more money if you are paid hourly) are an incredible hardship on the common man.

And yet this is our system. An entire system that seems to be designed, not for justice or even safety, but instead to get people into the courthouses. It is depressing.

Keep up the good fight!

    I actually don't drink. Ever. Can't I say I haven't been drinking?

I have always said "please tell me why" and I don't say another word until they answer.
